Warren County Conservation District

To Conserve and Protect!

About Us

The District was established in 1945 due to the Soil Conservation Act of 1940.  We were originally designed to provide assistance to farmers in controlling soil erosion.  We now provide assistance to all land and homeowners in solving natural resource concerns.

We are a subdivision of state government and are governed by a seven member elected board of supervisors. We have three employees that carry out the duties of the District.

We have working agreements with federal, state and other agencies in carrying out the program of work for the District.
