To Conserve and Protect!

We have several programs that landowners can sign up for throughout the year.  Along with these programs, we offer educational assistance and technical assistance to anyone in need.

This is a federal program designed to improve the natural resources on farms.  Sign ups are  throughout the year, with a ranking period usually held once a year.

This program utilizes funds through the tobacco payments.  We have provided assistance for subsurface drainage and pasture renovation in the past.

Wildlife Habitat Incentives Program.  This is designed to enhance the wildlife habitat by providing cost-share to improve your land.

This is an enhance version of CRP designed to protect streams and sinkholes.  We are buffering the Green River Watershed in order to protect it’s ecosystem.

This program is a state program that is designed to improve water quality.  Sign ups are usually held once a year.
